CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Five event victories helped MIT increase its lead following the third day of the NEWMAC Men’s Swimming and Diving Championship, hosted by MIT at the Zesiger Sports and Fitness Center Pool.
MIT’s total grew to 1,066.5 points with Coast Guard remaining in second place (670 points), WPI in third place (524.5 points), Babson in fourth place (506 points), Wheaton in fifth place (419 points), Springfield in sixth place (339 points), and Clark in seventh place (169 points).
Tomorrow, Sunday, February 22, is the last day of action and will feature the 200 Back, 100 Free, 200 Breast, 200 Fly, 1650 Free, and the 400 Free Relay.
