Six from the NEWMAC Earn USC Division III Women's Scholar All-Region Accolades

The United Soccer Coaches has announced its NCAA Division III Women’s Scholar All-Region honorees, with six NEWMAC student-athletes earning All-East Region honors.
 
MIT’s Madeline Seebeck (San Antonio, Texas), Leena Mehendale (Dallas, Texas), and Arianna Doss (Houston, Texas) each earned a spot. WPI’s Jessica English (Ledyard, Conn.), Emerson College’s Presley King (Lake Forest, Calif.), and Babson College’s Priscilla-Rose Men-Martin (Rolling Hills Estates, Calif.) were also named to the team.

A defender, Seebeck was a first-team selection in her junior year. The mechanical engineering major boasts a 3.9 GPA and was also named USC First Team All-Region after scoring a career-high 10 goals while anchoring an MIT defense that allowed just seven goals all season.

Senior Leena Mehendale was named to the second team. The NEWMAC Laurels of Academic Excellence winner carries a 4.0 GPA in biological engineering. She was also a first-team All-Region selection as a midfielder.
 
A junior, Doss was also named to the second team. The Biological Engineering and Political Science major maintains a 4.00 GPA. Doss was a First Team All-Region selection after finishing fourth on the team with six goals and 15 points 
 
A three-year veteran at defensive midfield and an accounting/international business major, Men-Martin was named to the third team with a 3.76 GPA. She earned her second straight All-NEWMAC honors after averaging 79 minutes per game for a Babson defense that allowed just 16 goals in 18 matches with eight shutouts and a 0.89 team goals against average.
 
A Business Creativer Enterprises major with a 3.42 GPA, King earns third team honors after starting all 19 games for the Lions and chipped in with a goal and an assist for three points on the offensive end.
 
English, a junior Mechanical Engineering major with a 3.57 GPA, anchored the Engineers' defensive unit that produced 10 shutouts and logged all 1,890 minutes for the second straight season. The junior back earned All-NEWMAC First Team honors in 2025 for the second consecutive season, marking her third-career All-Conference selection after leading a back line that limited opponents to just 24 goals in 21 matches.
