The United Soccer Coaches has announced its NCAA Division III Men’s Scholar All-Region honorees, with two NEWMAC student-athletes earning All-East Region honors.
Babson College’s
Alexander Yablonovskiy (Berkeley Heights, N.J.) was named to the first team. The junior accounting major carries a 3.50 GPA.
Yablonovskiy played in 21 of Babson's 22 games with 17 starts and led the team in scoring with a career-high 10 goals, four assists, and a career-high 24 points. The forward finished third in the NEWMAC in goals and points and sixth in assists
WPI senior
Evan Haas (Concord, N.H.) was named to the second team. The electrical engineering major boasts a 3.97 GPA. The defender anchored WPI's defensive corps this fall. The captain contributed heavy minutes at the heart of the back line while adding a pair of goals and an assist in 18 starts.
