Mosher won the RPI Fairgrounds Showdown on Saturday, leading the No. 17 Engineers to a third-place finish in the 15-team field. The graduate student broke the 24-minute barrier for the first time, covering the 8K course in a collegiate-best and school record 23:56.5 to hold off SUNY Geneseo's Collin Brown by 1.5 seconds. Mosher's winning time improved upon the collegiate best he established one week earlier at the Cardinal Invitational by 20.2 seconds. His performance highlighted a day in which 13 Engineers established career-best marks and helped WPI finish behind only nationally ranked SUNY Geneseo and No. 8 RPI.
