NEW LONDON, Conn. — No. 11 Massachusetts Institute of Technology has secured the 17th NEWMAC Track & Field title following Saturday's second day at the conference's championship meet.
The Engineers defended their 2025 championship by racking up 276 points across the two-day event. Three meet records were broken, with
Michaina Loriston of Wheaton setting a new standard in the 100 meters,
Ella Whinney of Wellesley marking a new conference best in the steeplechase, and
Tara Jessen of Coast Guard smashing her own heptathlon record.
