NEWMAC Track & Field Championships Set to Begin on Friday

The NEWMAC Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Championships return in 2026 for a jam-packed weekend of competition on Friday, April 24th, and Saturday, April 25th, hosted by The United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut.

On the men's side, WPI will look to defend its 2025 title. Babson, MIT, Springfield, Coast Guard, and Wheaton will also vie for the crown. 

The MIT women won their 16th NEWMAC title last season and will battle Babson, Mount Holyoke, Salve Regina, Smith, Springfield, Coast Guard, Wellesley, Wheaton, and WPI for the title. 

Ticket Information

Tickets for NEWMAC championship events can be purchased through the NEWMAC box office. The NEWMAC encourages fans to purchase their mobile tickets in advance of the event to streamline the entry process on game day. Spectators may purchase mobile tickets on site, but no cash option will be available. Ticket prices are $10 for general admission. Children 12 and under and NEWMAC students with a valid institutional ID are free and do not need to purchase a mobile ticket. Once a matchup is confirmed following each round of the championship, the tickets will become available.
