NEWMAC Claims Seven All-American Honors on Day Three of NCAA Women's Swimming & Diving Championship

Indianapolis, Ind.- The NEWMAC had seven All-American finishes on day three of the 2026 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, hosted at the IU Natatorium. 

In the 200 Medley Relay, the Wellesley College quartet of Lucy Choe, Alexis Kung, Kavita Sekhon, and Tracey Liu, finished 11th at 1:42.05. The MIT squad of Christina BeggsSarah BernardAnnika Naveen, and Olivia Chen placed 16th in 1:43.75. Beggs and Chen are now two-time All-Americans, while Bernard is now an eight-time All-American, and Naveen is an 11-time All-American. 

In the 200 Fly, MIT's Mary Feliz came in 10th with a time of 2:02.42 while teammate Belise Swartwood placed 16th in 2:03.74. Feliz captured her fourth All-America accolade of the meet, while Swartwood grabbed her second. 

MIT's Sydney Smith took 11th in the 200 Back with a time of 55.39, adding to her All-American collection. 

Wellesley's Sekhon finished 10th in the 100 Breaststroke, with a time of 1:02.44. 

In the final event of the night, the MIT 800 Free Relay team of Natalie TangJessica Crane, Smith, and Feliz finished seventh with a finals time of 7:24.91. Crane takes home her second AA honor, while Tang earns her third All-America honor in the 800 Free, and Smith becomes a 16-time All-American. 

Saturday, March 21 will be the last day of competition. Prelims will begin at 10:00 AM with the finals getting started at 6:00 PM. The final events will include the 1650 Free, 100 Free, 200 Back, 200 Breast, 3-Meter Dive and 400 Free Relay.
