Three NEWMAC Divers Compete at NCAA Men's Division III Diving Regional

NEW LONDON, Conn.- Springfield College men's diving junior Christian Butler, Babson junior David Krol and MIT first-year Andrew Simons all competed at the NCAA Division III Northeast-North Diving Regional Championships.

Butler finished in fifth place on the 1-meter board with a total score of 438.20 and placed seventh on the 3-meter board with a score of 422.15.
 
Krol had an eighth-place finish on the 1-meter with a score of 399.00 and finished ninth on the 3-meter board with a score of 402.30 points.
 
Simons rounded out the top ten in both the 1-meter and 3-meter, with scores of 364.70 and 384.40, respectively.

The Northeast-North region will send four men's divers to the NCAA Division III National Championships in March. The NCAA will officially announce selections on Monday, March 2.
