MIT Women Take Home 15th NEWMAC Title, WPI's Grace Hadley Breaks Three Championship Records

Springfield, Mass. – On Saturday afternoon, the No. 2 ranked MIT women’s track and field team captured the program’s 15th all-time New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championship Title.

In total, six meet records were broken. Grace Hadley of WPI broke the NEWMAC Championship records in the 1500-meter run, the 5,000-meter run, and the 800-meter run. The other records broken included the 200-meter dash (Marina Miller, MIT), the triple jump (Nony Out Ugwu, MIT), and the shot put (Alexis Boykin, MIT).

Below are the final team standings, as well as event-by-event results. The top two finishers in each event earn NEWMAC All-Conference honors.
