Everett Mosher raced to a runner-up finish at Saturday's Conn College Invitational, leading the No. 19 Engineers to eighth place in the premier Blue race. The graduate student covered the 8K course in 24:00.3, finishing just 7.5 seconds behind individual champion Dylan Cote of Wesleyan among 181 finishers. Mosher has finished among the top three in all four races this season, opening with a third-place finish at the Ken O'Brien Minuteman Invitational before placing second at the Cardinal Invitational (24:16.7) and winning the RPI Fairgrounds Showdown in a collegiate-best 23:56.5. His latest performance came in a competitive 26-team field featuring 12 nationally ranked programs, helping WPI finish ahead of No. 26 Lynchburg, No. 25 Middlebury and No. 24 Lebanon Valley. This is Mosher's third NEWMAC weekly award of the season.
