Jahmir Dixon authored a dominant performance in Norwich's 28-7 victory over Maine Maritime, hauling in 11 receptions for 228 yards and a touchdown while averaging 20.7 yards per catch. Dixon opened the scoring with a 47-yard touchdown reception early in the second quarter and consistently generated explosive plays throughout the afternoon, recording seven receptions of at least 17 yards. After Maine Maritime cut Norwich's lead to 14-7 late in the third quarter, Dixon caught consecutive passes of 27 and 42 yards on the Cadets' ensuing possession to set up an answering touchdown. He accounted for more than 80 percent of Norwich's 283 passing yards and finished with 228 all-purpose yards as the Cadets rolled to the 28-7 road victory.

The rookie's pick-six helped USMMA build a 35-0 second-quarter lead as the Mariners improved to 5-0 overall and 3-0 in NEWMAC play.

Karson Bye went 7-for-8 on extra points and handled all eight Merchant Marine kickoffs in the Mariners’ 55-6 NEWMAC victory over SUNY Maritime. Bye averaged 61.5 yards per kickoff with one touchback and also placed his lone punt inside the 20 as USMMA improved to 5-0 overall and 3-0 in conference play.
