Atlanta, Ga.- The Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) recently announced its Academic Top 25 Honor Roll, which recognizes NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA and two-year college women’s basketball teams across the nation that carry the highest combined GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season.
Emerson College was ranked fourth in Division III with a 3.766 combined GPA. This marks the 10th consecutive season the Lions have taken a ranking within the top-10, three of which were first-place rankings.
Clark University also landed in the top 10, tied for ninth-place, with a 3.741 GPA.
Additionally, teams having a 3.0 combined GPA and qualifying for consideration in their respective divisions are also listed as special mentions. MIT and Springfield each received special mention, completing the 2022-2023 year with a 3.647 and 3.613 GPAs, respectively.
