Taylor Teixeira has been with the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) since 2015 and currently serves as the Associate Executive Director. Over her tenure, she has played a key role in shaping the conference’s governance, championships, strategic planning, and financial operations.
In her current role, Teixeira oversees all aspects of the conference’s day-to-day operations, including conference governance, fiscal management, policy interpretation and implementation, and external partner relations/sponsorships. She oversees 20 sports and 19 championships and has been instrumental in financial oversight, managing the conference’s accounts payable, financial reporting, and the disbursement of NCAA grants.
Taking on a new role in external relations and revenue generation in 2024, Teixeira helped negotiate the first-ever media rights agreement for the NEWMAC, bringing significant revenue to the conference and its member institutions. She also works closely with Presidents and Directors, guiding strategic stability efforts. She played a key role in developing the Football Alliance with the Conference of New England (CNE), which includes regular-season scheduling and the newly established Fusion Bowl.
Beyond the NEWMAC, Teixeira is active in Division III governance. She serves on the NCAA Division III Student-Athlete Reinstatement Committee and the Executive Committee for the Division III Assistant Commissioners Group and currently serves on the associations Professional Development Working Group. She was previously a member of the NCAA Field Hockey Regional Advisory Committee (RAC) and has served as an NCAA Site Representative.
Teixeira began her time with the NEWMAC as the Coordinator of Sports Administration and Communications under the NCAA Women’s and Ethnic Minority Grant program from 2015-2017, she was then elevated to the Assistant Director by membership as a commitment to its five-year strategic plan.
Teixeira is a 2013 graduate of Endicott College where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and a minor in Business as well as a Master of Education in Athletic Administration in 2015. While earning her degree she served as the Sports Information Graduate Assistant in the Endicott athletic department. As a Division III student-athlete, Teixeira was a four-year starting goalkeeper and two-time captain on the field hockey team and was also an assistant coach for two seasons with the Gulls. In 2024 Teixeira was inducted into the Endicott College Athletics Hall of Fame.
