Game 4: No. 4 MIT Cruises to Victory Over No. 1 Babson, 73-46
The Engineers raced out to a 16-6 advantage, before the Beavers cut their deficit with an eight-point run, as the first quarter closed out 18-14. MIT continued to put the offensive pressure on Babson regaining a double-digit lead in the middle of the second margin. The Engineers never let up and cruised to a win over the Beavers. MIT's Taylor V'Dovec tallied 14 points in the win, followed by Kristen Ngan.
Game 5: No. 3 Springfield Defeats No. 2 Smith, 48-46
The Pride jumped out to an early lead to give the visitors an eight-point advantage over the Pioneers, before Smith rallied to take a 27-22 lead in the second quarter, but Springfield came within two at the half with a last second shot. The Pioneers built up a five-point lead, but the Pride were able to stay within close. Back-and-forth play continued for the remainder of the game, before two free throws in the final six seconds, lifted Springfield to victory. The game included 10 ties with 10 lead changes.
