Kylie Gallagher, MIT (So., F – Upton, Mass.)

In a 2-0 week for MIT, Kylie Gallagher averaged 18. 5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.5 steals, and 1.5 blocks while shooting 54.2 percent from the floor and 78.6 percent from the free throw line. She kicked things off by scoring a game-high 18 points on 5-of-10 shooting from the floor and by going 8-of-10 from the charity stripe while also recording six rebounds, three steals, and three blocks in 22 minutes of an 81-48 win over Wheaton on Wednesday. Gallagher followed this up on Saturday with 19 points (8-of-14 from the floor, 3-of-4 at the free throw line), six boards, and two steals in a 73-65 victory at Coast Guard.

NEWMAC Women's Basketball Defensive Athlete of the Week

Gracie Restituyo, Springfield (Sr., F – Barrington, R.I.)

Restituyo helped Springfield close out the regular season with a pair of wins en route to earning the third seed in the conference tournament. The senior averaged 14 points and 12 rebounds per game, while chipped in three blocks, and two steals. Of her 25 boards, 17 came on the defensive end, and her week was highlighted by a 17-rebound performance in a regular-season finale win over Clark.
