NEWMAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week

Aidan Gilson, MIT (Sr., Distance – Florence, Mass.)

At the Larry Ellis Invitational, Gilson ran the No. 4 time in the nation in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at 9:08.03 to set his season-best by 6.62 seconds. He finished eighth overall in the seeded event behind five D1 runners, one D2 runner and one professional and has the top mark in the NEWMAC.

NEWMAC Men's Field Athlete of the Week

Johann Bradley, WPI (So., Pole Vault – Slidell, La.)  

Bradley improved on his previous Division III New England qualifying performances with a PR of 15-5 in the pole vault at the Williams Invitational. The performance also ranks second on the NEWMAC leaderboard and is tied for 22nd in the nation. 

NEWMAC Men's Relay of the Week

4x100-Meter Relay, WPI (Adiletta, Rus, Kopellas, Harris)

The quartet of sophomore Matt Adiletta (Bolton, Mass.), junior Alex Rus (Newton, Mass.), pictured, junior William Kopellas (Needham, Mass.) and senior Antoine Harris (Southington, Conn.) defeated Middlebury (42.42) in a head-to-head matchup with a 41.73. The time is ranked 18th on the NCAA Division III performance list and No. 1 on the NEWMAC performance list.
