Babson Wins Fourth Consecutive NEWMAC Men's Presidents Cup

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. -  For the fourth consecutive year, Babson College has earned the NEWMAC Men’s Presidents Cup, as announced by NEWMAC Executive Director Patrick B. Summers on Thursday afternoon.
 
The Beavers captured five men’s postseason championships during the 2025-2026 academic year, as well as two regular-season titles.

Winning the NEWMAC Presidents Cup for the fourth consecutive year reflects our philosophy that excellence is an imperative in everything we do. Babson’s student-athletes have set the bar high,” said Stephen Spinelli Jr., MBA’92, PhD, president of Babson College and Chair of the NEWMAC Presidents Council. “Across every team, our students bring focus, discipline, and a commitment to shared success in competition, the classroom, and throughout our community. During the fall season, the Babson men’s soccer claimed the program's 12th conference crown.
 
The men’s cross country team posted a strong performance at the conference championship, finishing third for the fifth consecutive season.
 
The winter season brought another conference championship for Babson’s men’s basketball program, while the swimming and diving team posted a fourth-place finish at the NEWMAC Swimming and Diving Championship.
 
This spring brought three postseason championships and two regular-season titles. The men’s lacrosse team entered the postseason tournament as the top seed and took home their program’s fourth consecutive title. The Beavers then advanced to the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Tournament to cap off a fantastic postseason run.
 
Men’s tennis boasted an impressive spring season, earning the regular season title, finishing with a perfect slate in conference play before earning the program's second consecutive NEWMAC title.

Baseball pulled off an upset over top-seeded Salve Regina to claim the third conference title in an impressive spring for the Beavers.
 
Closing out the spring highlights for the Beavers, the men’s track and field team posted a fourth-place finish at the NEWMAC Track and Field Championship.
