USTFCCCA Announces Women's Track & Field All-Academic Teams and Athletes; MIT Named Outdoor Scholar Team of the Year

NEW ORLEANS – For the first time in program history, the NCAA Division III National Champion MIT women's track and field team has been named the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) National Outdoor Scholar Team of the Year for the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Track & Field season. The Engineers posted a team GPA of 3.632.

The Engineers are joined on the All-Academic team list by five additional NEWMAC institutions:

The cumulative team GPA of all student-athletes who used a season of eligibility must be at least a 3.10 on a 4.0 scale.

Additionally, 27 student-athletes were named All-Academic Athletes, which is awarded to all nominated student-athletes who have a 3.30 GPA on a 4.0 scale, and finished among the top 50 on TFRRS or competed at the Outdoor National Championships.
