COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced the 48 Division III student-athletes selected by member coaches as 2025 NFHCA
All-Americans, sponsored by
Apex Field Hockey. These outstanding athletes have been named to the First, Second, and Third Teams, highlighting their remarkable performances this fall.
Three from the NEWMAC earned the accolade, with Babson College’s
Caroline DiGiovanni (Harwich, Mass.) earning first team honors, her teammate
Penny Baroni (Dennis, Mass.) securing second team honors, and WPI’s
Lauren Meinhold (Boxboro, Mass.) claiming third team honors.
The NFHCA Region I Player of the Year, DiGiovanni earned her first All-America honor after being named to the All-Region First Team for the second year in a row, as well as NEWMAC Player of the Year and her second All-Conference First Team selection. She led the NEWMAC in scoring with a career-high 25 goals and 50 points, ranking 16th in Division III in goals per game (1.04) and 28th in points per game (2.08). The Babson senior produced a career-best seven-game goal-scoring streak and five multi-goal outings, including a hat trick against Clark and a career-high four goals in a win over the University of New England. She also led the NEWMAC with eight game-winning scores.
DiGiovanni was named the Most Outstanding Player in this year's NEWMAC Tournament and was a member of the NFHCA Senior Team.
Baroni earned her first All-America recognition after being named to the NFHCA All-Region and All-NEWMAC First Teams. She finished second on the team in scoring behind DiGiovanni with 11 goals and seven assists for 29 points, ranking in the top 10 in the NEWMAC in goals (7th), assists (6th), and points (8th). She produced two multi-goal games, including a hat trick in a season-opening win over Endicott, and finished second in the NEWMAC with five game-winning goals.
In 2025, Meinhold returned to the NFHCA all-region team for the second-straight season as she paced the Crimson and Gray with 10 goals and five assists, including three game-winning markers as she started in all 21 games for WPI. The graduate student midfielder concluded her career with 27 goals and 26 assists for 80 points in 77 starts across 78 games played for WPI, en route to earning three All-NEWMAC postseason accolades, in addition to securing a spot on the NFHCA Division III senior team.
The
NFHCA Division III National Player of the Year will be announced on December 18.
