Field Hockey Championship Tickets
MARLBOROUGH, Mass. -Â With the conclusion of the regular season, the NEWMAC has released the 2025 Field Hockey Championship bracket, which consists of six teams aiming for the title of NEWMAC Champion.Â
After a perfect 9-0 conference record, defending NEWMAC Champions Babson College secured the top seed and will host a semifinal game after earning a first-round bye. The Beavers are currently ranked third in NCAA NPI and are led offensively by
Caroline DiGiovanni's 23 goals, which lead the league. Babson will await the winner of the match-up between No. 4 Springfield (6-3) and No. 5 Salve Regina College (4-5). Springfield's
Rachel Simkewicz is third in the league with 15 goals, while Salve's
Julia Decker is second in the NEWMAC with 19 goals.
WPI (8-1) earned the second seed and the right to host a semifinal game with a first-round bye, as they head into the postseason with strong play from goalkeeper
Myles Lakin, who leads the league with an .867 save percentage. The Engineers are ranked No. 20 in the most recent NPI and will face the winner of the No. 6 Wellesley (3-6) and No. 3 MIT (7-2) battle. MIT's goalkeeper
Maeve Zimmer is second in the league with an .818 save percentage. Wellesley's
Claudia Summers has paced the Blue with nine goals this season.
Semifinal matchups will take place on Thursday, November 6. On Saturday, November 8th, the winners of each semifinal will compete in the NEWMAC title game.Â
Tickets for NEWMAC championship events can be purchased through the NEWMAC box office. The NEWMAC encourages fans to purchase their mobile tickets in advance of the event to streamline the entry process on game day. Spectators may purchase mobile tickets on site, but no cash option will be available. Ticket prices are $10 for general admission. Children 12 and under and NEWMAC students with a valid institutional ID are free and do not need to purchase a mobile ticket. Once a matchup is confirmed following each round of the championship, the tickets will become available.
