CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- MIT amassed 1483.5 points over four days to claim the 2024 NEWMAC Women’s Swimming and Diving Championship on Sunday at the Zesiger Sports and Fitness Center Pool. The championship is the 15th consecutive and 18th overall in program history for the Engineers.
The U.S. Coast Guard Academy was second with 896 points. WPI took third with 825 points and Babson was fourth (740.5 points). Wheaton College was fifth (532 points), Springfield College took sixth (519 points) and Clark University finished seventh (221 points) in the team standings.
The 2024 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships will take place March 20-23, 2024 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, NC. Prior to the NCAA Division III Championships, Diving Regionals will take place March 1-2 at Colby College in Waterville, ME. NCAA Championship selections will be announced on NCAA.com on February 28 (Unofficial psych sheet released) and March 4 (Official psych sheet released).
