Ten NEWMAC Student-Athletes Named D3football.com All-Region; Springfield's Mike Cerasuolo Named Region I Coach of the Year

The 20th annual D3football.com All-Region Teams have been announced.

Players were nominated for these awards by the Sports Information Directors at the various schools. In total, 1,210 players were nominated, a new high.

All-Region teams are selected in balloting by sports information directors in each region and D3football.com staff.

Springfield's Mike Cerasuolo was named Region I Coach of the Year, after leading the Pride to its fourth-straight undefeated NEWMAC Championship season. Setting a program record for wins in a season with 12, the 2024 Springfield team is just the second squad from New England to ever reach the NCAA Division III Championship Quarterfinals, matching a feat that a Springfield team did in 2000.

The Pride matched a program high with seven All-Region honorees. In total, 10 student-athletes from the NEWMAC were awarded All-Region honors.
