NEWMAC Announces 2010 Men’s Cross Country Post-Season Award Winners
BABSON PARK, Mass. – The New England Women’s and
Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) announced its 2010
men’s cross country award winners on Thursday. Coast Guard
coach, Steve Eldridge, was named the NEWMAC
Men’s Coach of the Year for the second time in the past three
years. Eldgridge’s Bears secured a second-place finish at
Saturday’s Championship. Clark University received the NEWMAC
Sportsmanship Award for the second year in a row. The NEWMAC
All-Conference team and individual awards were handed out at
Saturday’s championship meet. MIT freshman Roy
Wedge (Lawrence, Kan.) took home Runner and Rookie of the
Year honors, after winning the race with a time of 26:08.37.
