NEWMAC Women's Basketball Defensive Athlete of the Week Kyra Hartman, Coast Guard (So., G – Shillington, Pa.) Hartman led the Bears with 12.5 points per game and 11.5 rebounds per game. In Coast Guard's 66-59 victory over Gordon, the sophomore tallied seven points and seven rebounds, six of her rebounds were defensive. She led the Bears with 18 points and a career-high 16 rebounds against UMass Boston on Sunday, where 12 of her 16 rebounds were defensive. Hartman added six assists and two blocks in the two games. |

NEWMAC Men's Basketball Offensive Athlete of the Week Nate Martin, Emerson (So., G – Washington, D.C.) Martin led all scorers in the Lions' lone game, posting a career-high performance in a win over Pine Manor last Tuesday. Martin played in 38 minutes, racking up 33 points on 11-for-18 shooting, while connecting on all six of his three-point attempts. He also added two assists, one steal, and seven total rebounds, with four coming on the offensive end. |
