First-year Clare Moore (New Preston, Conn.) anchored the Springfield defense to two shutouts this week to close the regular season at 12-6 and 6-3 in NEWMAC play, marking the most overall wins and most NEWMAC wins for the Pride since 2018. Moore's defense helped Springfield allow just nine total shots on goal - including just three in the regular season finale against Clark on Saturday.
