Defensive Athlete of the Week- Sophia Shaw (Sr., DS), Babson College
 
Senior Sophia Shaw (Novato, Calif) led the team with 38 total digs and averaged 3.45 digs per set as Babson opened the season by winning two of three matches at the Greg "Gio" Giovanazzi Memorial Tournament. She finished with 15 digs in Friday’s 3-0 victory over Capital, had 14 digs and five assists in a four-set win over Rowan on Saturday morning, and capped the weekend with nine digs, four assists, and two aces in a four-set loss to No. 4 Johns Hopkins.
