Sophomore Josh Mayo (Westfield, Mass.) pitched seven shutout innings, struck out 11, allowed just two hits and zero walks in a 3-0 win for the Pride on Saturday against Wheaton. Mayo not only picked up his first win on Alden Street, but helped Springfield to its first win over the Lyons since 2022.
