Singles Player of the Week – Jay Lu (Sr.,), MIT
 
Senior Jay Lu (Austin, Texas) went 3-0 in the No. 2 singles position for No. 12 MIT. In a 4-3 loss at No. 10 Trinity (Texas) on Friday, she rattled off three straight victories in the third set to come back for a 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 win. The next day, Lu posted a 6-3, 6-1 victory as the Engineers topped No. 23 Gustavus Adolphus, 6-1. Against No. 9 WashU, she rallied from a 4-3 deficit in the first set to record a 6-4 win then topped her opponent, 6-2, in the second set. During the weekend, Lu became the program's all-time career wins leader as she eclipsed the previous mark which was 147.
