Defensive Athlete of the Week- Kate Laico (Gr., GK), Springfield College  

Graduate student Kate Laico (East Meadow, N.Y.) led the Pride to a 2-0 week with wins over Skidmore and Endicott as she totaled 22 saves this week. Laico began her week with ten saves in a 13-11 win at Skidmore before making a career-best 12 stops in a dominant 13-8 win over Endicott on Saturday, as she currently ranked tenth in the nation in save percentage (.612).
