High School Softball Athlete of the Week Mackenzie Doyle, Springfield (Sr., Glocester, R.I.) The reigning NEWMAC Player of the Year picked up where she left off last season in helping Springfield go 9-1 in their Spring Break trip in Florida. Doyle had a special first week of the 2023 campaign as she hit .457 and had an on-base percentage of .537, producing 16 hits and drawing six walks. She scored 12 times, drove in seven runs, delivered four stolen bases.
