Defensive Athlete of the Week- Nate Amado (Sr., G), Babson College
 
Senior Nate Amado (Hanson, Mass.) averaged 2.7 steals, one block and 7.0 rebounds as Babson defeated a pair of top-10 teams as part of its three victories over the holiday break. He contributed eight boards, four steals and one block in a 73-59 win over Case Western Reserve on December 29 and followed it up with three more steals, six rebounds and another block to earn all-tournament honors as the Beavers defeated sixth-ranked and previously unbeaten Wooster 69-61 on December 30 at the E.M. “Mose” Hole Classic. Amado, who also averaged 20.3 points, played a career-high 46 minutes and produced seven rebounds, one steal and one block in a 99-89 2OT upset of No. 3 Trinity on Saturday.
