Sophomore Merlin Gogolin (New York, N.Y.) helped lead the Engineers to a 2-0 week with a pair of standout performances. On Tuesday versus Salem State, Gogolin dropped in a career high 28 points, grabbing seven rebounds and adding an assist in an 83-80 MIT victory. He followed that performance with 18 points and a season-high nine rebounds, adding a pair of assists as the Engineers defeated Fitchburg State on the road, 82-72.
