Special Teams Athlete of the Week- Joe Maurer (GS., DB), Springfield College
 
Graduate student Joe Maurer (Wilbraham, Mass.) was dynamic on special teams for the Pride in its 38-32 win over Western New England on Friday night.  On three kickoff returns, Maurer totaled 171 yards as he started off with a 35 yarder to start the game before tallying a 41-yard return in the second quarter.  Holding onto a 21-19 lead, Maurer swung the momentum in favor of the Pride with a 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown with just over a minute remaining in the first half.
