Sophomore Matia Cristiani (San Salvador, El Salvador) went 2-0 at number two singles as No. 15 Babson faced two of the top teams in the country over the weekend in Atlanta. She defeated seventh-ranked Ana Cristina Perez of No. 3 Emory, 6-3, 6-3, on Friday and followed it up with a 6-0, 6-2 victory over Ellie Hughes of No. 12 Trinity (Texas) in the Beavers’ 5-4 loss.
