Sophomore Owen Sondag (Fargo, N.D.) earned a thrilling 5000m victory on Friday evening as MIT hosted the Sean Collier Invitational. He made a late move to overtake first place and win the event with a new PR of 14:23.69. Sontag's time is now best in the region in the 5K and has put him on the NCAA bubble at 25th nationally.
