Singles Player of the Week – Alaxander Merson (Sr.), Babson College
 
Senior Alexander Merson (Palisades Park, N.J.) went 2-0 at number one singles as No. 12 Babson split its matches against a pair of nationally-ranked foes. He defeated Niklas von Hellens 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) in Saturday’s 7-0 sweep of No. 27 NYU and then outlasted Javier Gonzalez 7-6, 7-5 to earn the Beavers’ lone point in Sunday’s 6-1 loss to No. 3 Tufts. 

Doubles Team of the Week – Alexander Merson (Sr.) & Maxim Zlobinsky (Fy.), Babson College
 
Alexander Merson (Palisades Park, N.J.) and Maxim Zlobinsky (Greenvale, N.Y.) went 2-0 while not dropping a point at number two doubles as No. 12 Babson split its matches against a pair of nationally-ranked foes. They cruised to a 6-0 victory over Shido Ito and Jeh-Lei Fan in Saturday’s 7-0 sweep of No. 27 NYU and followed it up with another 6-0 shutout of Javier Gonzalez and Kaetan Mehta in the Beavers’ loss to No. 3 Tufts on Sunday.
