Junior Ava DelliCompagni (Coatesville, Pa.) had a hand in 11 of Emerson's 14 goals in Tuesday's season-opening 14-13 win over Simmons, assisting on the game-winner with ten seconds to play, in the Lions’ lone game of the week. DelliCompagni filled the stat sheet with five goals and six assists for her 11 points, adding six draw controls, four ground balls, and two caused turnovers. She assisted on the game-winning goal from Laura Lovell with ten seconds to play after netting the equalizer two minutes earlier.
