Defensive Athlete of the Week- Sofia Neary (Sr., F), Salve Regina University  
 
Senior Sofia Neary (Wayne, N.J.) had double-doubles in both games of a 1-1 week for the Seahawks, and 17 out of 21 games on the year. The league's leading rebounder (13.4 rpg) and scorer (19.9 ppg) became the fourth Seahawk in program history to grab 1,000 career rebounds in Salve Regina's 61-55 victory over WPI. She made a season-high 12 field goals against the Engineers with game highs of 30 points and 17 rebounds. At Clark, Neary grabbed a season-high 21 boards while leading all players with 17 points. For the week, Neary averaged 23.5 points per game and 19.0 rebounds per game. She tacked on two steals and two blocks for the Seahawks.
