The NEWMAC announced its 2009 Women’s Tennis post-season awards on Tuesday. The two tournament finalists, Wheaton and Wellesley, combined to account for all nine of the First Team nods.

The duo of Chesky and Van Faasen went 4-1 last week, including posting an 8-1 victory from third doubles over an MIT duo during Wheaton's 6-3 win, which clinched it a share of its first NEWMAC regular season title.
