NEWMAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

Jamie Karraker, MIT, G, 2012 (Morgantown, W. Va.)

Karraker continued his assault from three-point range in a pair of MIT victories this week, as the Engineers won their first two NEWMAC games and improved to 14-0 overall. Karraker connected on eight three-balls en route to 24 points in Saturday's 87-54 win over Wheaton. The senior added five rebounds in the game as well. In the conference opener against Springfield on Wednesday, Karraker had 11 points to go along with a pair of steals. He shot 47.8% (11-23) from long distance for the week, averaging 17.5 points and 3.0 rebounds per contest.
