Crowley led the Coast Guard defense with a season and team-high 10 tackles, including seven solo tackles, one interception and one pass breakup. Crowley's efforts secured the Bears' only interception, resulting in an insurance touchdown in the 20-9 win at Catholic.

NEWMAC Football Special Teams Athlete of the Week

Jakai Whittingham, Springfield (Sr., WR - Meriden, Conn.)

Whittingham played a major part in Springfield's 33-16 win over Norwich on Saturday. The senior totaled six punts that racked up 208 yards, but more importantly, resulted in three punts inside the 20 as Springfield was able to control field position throughout the contest. Whittingham's day was highlighted by a pair of punts that pinned the Cadets at their own 2-yard line and 10-yard line and finished the contest averaging nearly 35 yards per punt.
