NEWMAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week

Sean Minor, WPI, 2012 (Los Angeles, Calif.)

Minor was spectacular in WPI's sweep of defending conference regular season champion Babson. The freshman scattered five hits while tossing a complete game shutout in WPI's 2-0 road win. Minor did not allow a runner to reach third base until the sixth inning then promptly induced a 3-2-3 inning-ending double play to extinguish the threat. He notched two strikeouts while upping his record to 2-1 on the season. He combined with fellow starter Conor Fahey and Jason Forte to limit the potent Babson lineup to just one run in 16 innings of action.
