Clark Sophomore Mitchell DeLorenzo Named NEWMAC Baseball Player of the Week
In seven games during Spring Break, Mitch DeLorenzo hit a robust .538 with a homerun and ten RBI, while slugging .808. He had an on-base percentage of .581, while handling all 48 of his opportunities in the field without an error.

Six NEWMAC student-athletes have been named to the NEIBA 2009 All-New England Division III team as announced last week. Wheaton led the way with three Second Team selections while Babson, MIT and WPI each had one player honored.

NEWMAC Announces 2009 Baseball Post-Season Award Winners
The NEWMAC announced its 2009 baseball award winners on Tuesday. Wheaton College led the way with five All-Conference selections, as well as the Rookie of the Year, Dan Haugh. MIT and WPI each had four players named to the First or Second Teams.

O'Toole helped lead the Beavers to their second NEWMAC Championship and NCAA Tournament berth with a huge offensive week, batting .400 with two doubles, two homers, four runs, and five RBIs in the team's four tournament games.
