WESTWOOD, Mass. - The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) announced the 2019 Baseball Postseason Awards and All-Sportsmanship honorees on Tuesday.

Babson's Michael Genaro was selected as the 2019 Pitcher of the Year, after holding the best overall ERA at 1.46. In conference, Genaro went 5-0 with a 0.73 ERA and 39 strikeouts with just two walks in 46.0 innings and held opposing hitters to a .214 average.

Wheaton's Jacob Studley earned the title of 2019 Rookie of the Year, after boasting a .452 batting average and .742 slugging percentage in the conference. Studley also tallied three homeruns, eight RBIs, and two stolen bases in league play.

After leading Wheaton to a share of the East Division Title with a conference record of 15-2 and the top-seed in the NEWMAC Tournament, the Lyons' Eric Podbelski was voted the 2019 Coach of the Year.

The 2019 Baseball All-Conference Team consists of 10 first and second team honorees which are voted on by the eight baseball coaches.

Eight baseball student-athletes are also being recognized to the All-Sportsmanship Team.
