Sullivan and Team USA Capture Bronze Medal at 2016 Olympic Summer Games
Rio de Janiero, Brazil - August 21, 2016 - Springfield College head men's volleyball coach Charlie Sullivan and the United States Men's Volleyball Team rallied from a two-set deficit to defeat Russia to claim the Bronze Medal at the 2016 Olympic Summer Games on Sunday.

Luscier, Markos and Pinho Garner USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors

Women's Volleyball Earns Fifth-Straight AVCA Team Academic Award
Lexington, Ky. - July 26, 2016 - The Springfield College women's volleyball team was one of 140 programs throughout Division III to be recognized with the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award. This marks the fifth-straight season that the Pride has been recognized for this academic achievements.

Men's and Women's Tennis Programs Earn ITA Team Academic Awards; 17 Individually Recognized
Tempe, Ariz. - July 25, 2016 - The Springfield College men's and women's tennis teams have been rewarded for their success not only on the court, but also in the classroom, as they each earned the Intercollegiate Tennis Associaiton (ITA) Team Academic Awards for the 2015-16 season. Additionally, 17 student-athletes across the two programs earned ITA Scholar Athlete recognition at season's end.

Springfield College Honored With AVCA Grant Burger Media Award
Springfield, Mass. - June 24, 2016 - The Springfield College Sports Communication Department was recently recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) for its successful efforts in the advancement and promotion of the sport of volleyball. The College earned NCAA Division III Sports Information Director Men's Volleyball Conference Honors during the announcement of the annual AVCA Grant Burger Media Award.
